Geschichte
Wie es entstand
Drymades (Drimades) is the beach strip below Dhërmi, sharing the same white-pebble shoreline where the Ceraunian Mountains meet the Ionian Sea. Long a low-key alternative to the busier main beach, it has become known for its relaxed beach clubs and, in peak summer, for electronic-music events in the coves.
Was Sie sehen werden
Bei einem Besuch
A softer, quieter scene than the main beach — clear water for swimming, sunbeds under thatched umbrellas, and beach bars that carry on from afternoon swims into evening drinks and DJ sets.
Besuch planen
About 3 km north along the coast from Dhërmi Beach, reached by a side road off the SH8, and walkable along the shore from Dhërmi in good conditions. Free to enter, with sunbeds paid.
Beste Zeit
June to September; late May and September are noticeably quieter with the water still warm.
They sit next to each other and share the same clear water and white pebbles. Drymades, just to the north, is the more laid-back, barefoot of the two, with a scattering of beach clubs among the trees.
Yes. Drymades has grown from a low-key alternative to Dhërmi Beach into a relaxed beach-club strip, with music and, in peak summer, electronic-music events on the sand — livelier after dark than by day. Bring water shoes for the pebbles.
